TGF challenge Christmas Wish

Every year I get so excited to see family and friends and their wonderful faces as they open their gifts. My family members usually tell me to open mine because I would rather watch all of them. Just love to see if their gifts bring them joy and do they really like the thought behind them. I know Jesus is the reason for the season, but shouldn't he be the reason everyday of the year?! He was the ultimate, perfect gift. So with that said, my wish is to see everyone have a very, very Merry Christmas!

This card I did for my wonderful husband who spoils me everyday. I wish I could give him the world, but he will have to settle for my heart.

TGF All That Sparkles Challenge

Good day friends! So this weeks TGF challenge was All That Sparkles. I love sparkles!!! So you would think I would go all out, but I went simple for me haha. I used Loli Anya and added glitter to her bows, dress, and shoes. I also added glitter to the lollipops, ribbon, and paper. A little hard to see in the pictures. A couple of rhinestones to the card. I sent this card to my bestie for Christmas.

TGF Cyber Monday Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog! Today I want to share with you a project I did for my aunt's birthday. I promised her a little over a year ago a quilted table runner for her buffet. I decided to make a matching card using, of course, my Greeting Farm stamp. I used the Rock the Farm girl stamp. I had so much fun making this for her and better late than never right?!

So here are the pictures of my project.

Giving Thanks Day 22, 23, 24

Day 22 I was thankful for my friends. At work we had our Thanksgiving potluck and it was the best one so far. Plenty of good food and everyone had a wonderful day. After work I met my bestie at the mall and we did a little shopping. It was a wonderful day!

Day 23 I was thankful for my mother-in-law. Every year for Thanksgiving week she gives me a new snowman decoration. It is as she calls it a tradition. She is so loving and kind to me and I appreciate her thoughtfulness! On this day she gave me a really cute snowman holding a bucket of snowballs.

Day 24 - I'm thankful today that God kept me safely to and from church services. The weather was to get bad today and he watched over me so that I could make it to both services without any problems. I love our awesome God.

Giving Thanks Day 19, 20, 21

Day 19 - I was definitely thankful for my caramel frappe from McDonalds. They get me going and I'm addicted to the sweet goodness in a cup!

Day 20 - I was thankful for forgiveness. I have a friend, yes she is real lol, she and her best friend had a falling out a month ago. She tried to open the line of communication for forgiveness. Her friend wants nothing to do with it. Broke my heart for her!!! Reminded me of how Jesus said to forgive seventy times seven and how Titus 2:14 tells me that no sin is too big that God won't forgive. Thank you Father for forgiving me always.

Day 21 - I was thankful for trees. As silly as it sounds, there are some beautiful fall colors going on. The red, yellow, brown, greens. The amazing creations God shares with us are awe inspiring!

Giving Thanks Day 12,13,&14

So as you can tell I am running a little behind on posts. I've been a little under the weather this week. I hate to fail on a commitment so with that said this post will be picture less today.

Day 12- I was thankful for my car. Not because it is fancy, because it isn't, but because it provides me transportation to and from work. It provides me a way to and from church. In Texas walking isn't much of an option! And reliable, economical transportation can be a must.

Day 13- I was thankful for the cooler weather. I find it ironic that I'm so happy for the cold to come when up until the last year or so I hated cold. Now as I grow into the fall season of my life...I find that I am a lot hotter than before. And...well..thank the good Lord that I am just not as cold natured as before. Bring on the winter! Haha

Day 14- I am thankful for health. I know so many suffering from illnesses. Cancer, heart problems, various other serious illnesses. My problems are minor compared to what others face. I am really glad that we can pray and our father can hear and answer prayers. He always answers...just may not be what we want, but it is always what he feels is best. There is always a reason for HIS answer.

I would like to say thank you! Though I know my audience is small, I know my message is out there.

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Also, I am thankful for my job. I may not always like it...but at least I have one.
I am truly blessed.

TGF Washi Tape Challenge

The Greeting Farm challenge this time is to use Washi tape along with one of their stamps. I made a card and decided to use Angel Anya. She is just one of my favorites. I colored her with copics and added stickles to the halo and wings. The washi tape is the two pieces of pink and the black one that says "keep calm and carry on". I really enjoyed this challenge.

Giving Thanks Day 10

Today I am thankful for Jesus. He came, lived, died, and was raised again that I may have eternal life. The suffering he endured on the cross must have been the most absolutely horrific death anyone could endure. And he went through that for me. For everyone. And I am not deserving, but he loves me. Thank you dear Father for sending your son...for loving me.

Giving Thanks Day 7

Today I was thankful for my home. Not my house...my home. You see my home is more than just a brick house. It is a place of love. A place of coziness. A place of warmth. A place of family. My family is getting bigger and I hope that it will only grow bigger and more full of love. I'm truly blessed as many do not have the security, the love, family, or even a house. And though I may not live in the biggest, fanciest of houses, it's where my heart is.

Giving Thanks Day 6

On day 6, I was thankful for my best friend! She is kin, creative, and always there for me. She is probably one of the sweetest person I've ever met! I wasn't doing well emotionally on the 6th day but she listened. And that was the best gift of all! She is also really talented as a scrapbooker and card maker. She taught me a lot in the last year and I am truly grateful to her for always inspiring me!

Giving Thanks Day 5

So I didn't get my posts up for a couple of days so...here we go.

On day 5 I was thankful for my Grammy. Though she is no longer with us she is never far from my heart and mind. She was a special woman. A wonderful role model. She spent her life giving and left behind a legacy of love. She was one who fed many. I remember many times she fed strangers. She delivered meals on wheels for years, but that wasn't all. Before my days on this earth she fed the rail car hobos. They would come from the railroad tracks near her house and beg for food. She always packed them a sack lunch. One year during our family Thanksgiving reunion meal at a church building some strangers showed up hungry. She invited them in. She never turned anyone away that was in need of help. I was blessed to have her in my life for 42 years and I truly miss her but thank God for letting me be HER grandaughter. She wasn't just my Grammy, she was Grammy to everyone.

Giving Thanks Day 4

Today I am thankful for my parents. I have amazing parents! My mom has always been there for me no matter what! She is an amazing, strong, honest woman. A true role model. My dad and I didn't always connect but as I got older we got closer. Besides the obvious I get my looks from him, he is a good listener and one of my biggest supporters. I'm truly blessed and love them more than they know.

Giving Thanks Day 3

Today I am thankful for my children. The good Lord blessed me with two boys and now that they are grown, my family is expanding. I love the new additions and welcome many more to come. Included in the category of children is my four legged baby. Katie. She has taught me unconditional love. If only I could love my GOD as much as she loves me. The boys taught me patience, and Lord knows that was a hard, long lesson. Sometimes I wanted to give up. But I hung in there and somehow we made it. Now that they are grown and moved out I can only pray that their kids make them learn the same lesson. (Haha)

So here is my page in my journal today.

30 days of Giving Thanks

I have been inspired! Robyn over at injoystampin.com is doing a 30 days of thankfulness journal for the month of November. She invited her followers to do the same. Here is a picture of the book she will be using. It's a project life style book.

I have decorated a smashbook and I am all set to journal my 30 days of Giving Thanks. Here is my book.

I hope you will follow along and I challenge you to do the same. And if your not a crafter, well you can still find one thing each day and to be thankful for and give thanks in your own way!

Greeting Farm alter ego challenge

The Greeting Farm challenge this time is alter ego. My bestie said we should do this and it sounded like a lot of fun so I decided to jump in and give it try. This is my first challenge and I was super excited. You had to use more than one Greeting Farm stamp in your creation. I chose Alice in wonderland Anya and mad hatter Anya. Colored them up with copics, added some flowers, and here she is.

Thank you for dropping by my blog and have a blessed day!
