Card share and a message

While most are celebrating with there moms today as it is Mother's Day, there are some who are missing theirs. I'm blessed that my mom is still with me and will hopefully be for a long, long time. She truly is a blessing from God.

A coworker lost her mother-in-law recently and so today I made a card for all of us at work to sign. I wanted to share it with you and also just a simple little message. Don't take for granted the time we have with our loved ones. The bible tells us that our lives are but a vapor. Meaning it passes so quickly. So live in the now. Love and be loved. But, most importantly be prepared for the time your tomorrow may not come. Sorry, for the sad tone here but it is important to me that I get the message out there. If I am not here tomorrow will my loved ones know how I felt? Most importantly, where will I spend my eternity? Am I prepared to meet my God? Think about it...

Now, here is the card I made.

Mom...

This Sunday is Mothers's Day and The Greeting Farm challenge this time is to celebrate MOM. Today my family went out to eat together in honor of us moms. It was a great time. I celebrated with my mom, my mother-in-law, my daughter-in-law to be, and her mom. Of course the men were there, but this post is on moms. Here are the cards I made for my mom and my mother-in-law.

That is supposed to be my husband and me. (he he) I love making these pop up cards. They are so fun and easy.

Here are the cards I made for my daughter-in-law to be and her mom.

My grandson painted me this cute birdhouse. Iwas told he was really excited and used lots of pink because he knows I love pink!!!

I would like to wish all the moms out there a very happy Mother's Day!

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

O, Happy Day

Today I want to share a card I made over the weekend. The Greeting Farm challenge this week is to make masculine cards. Well, that's a huge challenge for me as I love pink, flowers, and everything girly! I raised two boys and so you would think after 23 years of nothing but guy stuff it would be easy. Not so much ha-ha. I just want to pink everything up! So here is my card. I think I did alright. How about you?

New Canon Selphy and a page layout

Where I work they have a rewards program. When you do a good job someone inside or outside of the company can go online and submit a thank you. It's called an isaia since I work for Saia. Anyways, for every isaia you get it equals two points. You can turn in your points for merchandise. I used mine for a Canon Selphy photo printer. Love that it was free!!! Here is a photo of it.

So of course I had to test it and here is what I printed.

That's my silly baby at work playing with a coworkers glasses. I decided to make a scrapbook layout to display. Here it is.

Hope you enjoyed my pics. Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Hello

The Greeting Farm and one lovely lady collaborated and came up with an awesome stamp. Frappy Anya. She is adorable and I am so addicted to McDonalds caramel frappes so I had to have this stamp. I got her this week and wanted to play with her. TGF's Farm Fresh Friday challenge for the week is using pastel colors. So here is my creation.
